Sai Hing 5M Bark of Eucommia

In traditional Chinese medicine, eucommia bark has sweet, warm properties. It is associated with the liver and kidneys, and is considered the primary herb used to increase yang functions in the body. Eucommia bark strengthens the bones and muscles, heals injured and weakened tissues, and can treat lower back and leg pain, stiffness and arthritis.

Efficacy: 

- increase Yang functions in the body 

- strengthens the bones and muscles

Preparation:

- For Tea: Cut into small pieces, 5-8 grams, and steep/boil in hot water for 20-30 mins.

-  Eucommia Bark Infused Liquor (Twice daily, consume 30-50 millilitres each time): 

     1. Mix 50G Eucommia bark, 10 G Salvia miltiorrhiza, and 25G Chuan Xiong herb                     in a mislin bag. Place the bag in a sealed jar with 1000G white wine and steep for 20 days.

     2. Collect the clear liquid by removing the soaked ingredient and allowing the solution to settle,

- Eucommia Bark Kidney-Nourishing and Bone-Strengthening Decoction Soup( Eucommia Bark decoction strengthens liver, kidney, muscles, and bones, and alleviates lower back and leg pain and weakness.)

     1. Eucommia Bark 20g, Achyranthes Root 15g, Chinese Knotweed 15g, Cynomorium Herb 10g, Loranthus Parasiticus 10g, Euryale Seed 15g, 8-10 Black Dates, 1 piece of Pig's Tail or400g Pork, boiled with 1.8 liters of water for 2 hours.

Storage Method:

It is recommended to store in a refrigerator at a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius. Avoid storing too much food in the refrigerator to ensure effective cooling.
