Lung Tonic Soup - 黄金雪梨润肺汤

Singapore may not experience the four seasons like other countries, but we are at the mercy of fickle weather and a tropical climate!

With the recent haze and dry spell, have you noticed any changes in your body? In times like these, we need to take extra care of our bodies, especially our lungs.

To do so, it is recommended that we consume more of the following:

- Pear
- Apple
- Bird’s Nest
- White Fungus

Today we’re featuring a sugar-free dessert recipe called 黄金雪梨润肺汤 (Huang Jin Xue Li Run Fei Tang), Lung Tonic Soup which uses these aforementioned ingredients and is suited for all ages. This dessert is especially effective in countering any negative effects the ongoing haze may have on you – such as a sensitive respiratory system and weaker lungs. If you’re someone who 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐭 this dessert is also perfect for you!

Don’t forget, this dessert uses no artificial sugar, so it’s also suitable for those of you who are health-conscious, suffering from diabetes or high blood pressure.
