Mongolian Milkvetch

* Sai Hing Energising Tonic Soup Packet has pre-packaged ingredients that have been carefully crafted for the best medical effects and taste. 

Other ingredients: 
Sesame Oil – 2 Soupspoons
Ginger – 4 Pieces 
King Oyster Mushrooms – 2 pcs 
Shiitake Mushrooms – 5 pcs
Vegetarian Oyster Sauce – 2 teaspoons
Soy Sauce – 1 teaspoon

Napa Cabbage (Wawa Choy) 
Qing Gang Vegetables
Baby corn
Mixed Mushrooms
Snow fungus 
White Pepper – 2 teaspoons

Preparation Time: -

Cooking Time: 65 minutes 


Step 1. Gently wash all the herbs in a bowl. Place the washed herbs in a soup pot with 2.5 Liters of water. Boil and simmer for about 45 minutes.

Step 2. Heat a pan and add two soup spoons of sesame oil and four pieces of freshly cut ginger. Then add the King Oyster Mushroom (Note: Cut the King Oyster mushrooms into small square pieces) and stir-fry slowly for 5 minutes. Next, add the shiitake mushrooms (Note: Presoak the shiitake mushrooms) and continue to stir-fry. Add two teaspoons of Vegetarian Oyster sauce and a teaspoon of soy sauce. 

Step 3. Now we can start to assemble the rest of the ingredients. Put the Napa Cabbage (Wawa Choy) at the base (Tips: It has a lovely natural sweet fragrance. As we cook and the mixture of food softens, the taste improves). Add Qing Gang vegetables, carrots, baby corn, pumpkin, broccoli, mixed mushrooms, snow fungus, and chestnut. Once the Energising Tonic Soup is ready, add the soup and water from soaking the shiitake mushrooms [Tips: This will help enhance the dishes' flavors] into the pot of ingredients. Lastly, add 2 teaspoons of white pepper.

Step 4. Let it cook for 20 minutes, and the dish is ready to serve!
