Other ingredients:
Duck – x1
Salt – 1 tablespoon
Oyster sauce – 1 tablespoon
Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon
Shaoxing wine – 1 tablespoon
Goji berries
Ginger – 3-4 slices
Yield: 4 - 6 pax
Preparation Time: 30 minutes for soaking the herbs.
Cooking Time: 2 hours
Directions:
Step 1. Rinse and soak the herbs for 30 minutes in a bowl, except for the goji berries.
Step 2. Rub 1 tablespoon of salt on the duck, followed by 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. Stuff the duck with half the soaked herbs and scatter the other half outside.
Step 3. Transfer the duck and sauce to a rice cooker. Add 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine, 650ml water, goji berries, and 3-4 ginger slices. Cook in the rice cooker for 2 hours.
Step 4. Pour the remaining soup on the duck, and it’s ready to serve!
